I have been involved with rescue for many years. My family always 'saved' the strays and unwanted puppies and people always knew we would help them if they had to 'get rid of' their pets of any type.

My life always has been and always will be revolved around animals and my experience includes 8 years working as an Animal Control Officer at Animal Shelters and Humane Societies, working at Veterinarian offices dealing with all types of animals and illnesses (and performing euthanasia) as well as breeding, training and showing my own dogs. I am experienced with all types of animals (wild and domestic) ranging from birds (Finches to Macaws), reptiles of all types (including Crocodiles and Alligators), all canines (pets to champion show dogs: puppies to old age) and several types of handicaps, deformities and illnesses.

I have a lifetime of experience involving breeding, training, grooming, showing and handling of numerous breeds of champion show dogs in Canada and the US.

I keep updated on proper exercise, nutritional and dietary needs of all types of pets and am experienced in rehabilitation, desensitization and counter conditioning of abused, aggressive and neglected pets.

I have my own Pet Sitting Service I started in 1992 and my experience level in pet care is ever expanding in all types of education, including, but not limited to: seminars, books from our own library, magazines, periodicals, veterinary inquiries and more.
