Sucia Oaks rescues unwanted, abused and neglected Lhasa Apsos (our primary breed). Our rescues have expanded to the special needs of handicapped dogs/puppies of all breeds.   Females in whelp are welcome at any time.  They have special needs as well.

We are against Back-Yard-Breeding and Puppy Mills.  Educating the public is a necessary part of rescues and teaching responsible breeding practices and importance of spay and neuter of pets and non-breeding dogs and cats.

We encourage adoptions of special needs pets rather than euthanasia.  We are against the killing of deaf dogs, which is common pratice amongst several breeds, including the Dalmatian breed.
