Dogs for Adoption

Last Updated 10/13/05

Sandy is a very sweet and gentle fawn great Dane with no mask and natural ears. She is about 2 yrs old - we don't know exactly because she was found as a stray, very underweight. She has Demodectic mange (not contagious, but an immune system deficiency) and is being treated for it very successfully. She is heartworm negative and otherwise very healthy. She has been brought current on all shots and is putting weight back on, and her skin and coat are clearing up nicely. Once the demo is under control, it should not be a problem for her. She is a delight to be around - very quiet but fun loving. She asks very little, and appreciates everything that is done for her. She loves other dogs, people, children, and creatures of all kinds. Sandy is housebroken and very much at home in the house. She knows sit, come, wait, go play, and other commands. Sandy will be spayed before going to her new home.
