                          About Us

I am Trina Smith (the Ti in Di-Ti).  The Di is my mom, Diane.  Mom doesn't have as much involvement in showing anymore due to health conditions but she still has a few older retired (spayed/neutered) and rescued dogs living on the acreage at her home.

About some of our Lhasas:  We acquired Heart when he was 18 months old, already an American Champion.  Right away we put him in the show ring in Canada and completed his Canadian Championship.  He has sired a limited number of puppies of which we kept a few.  Most have been spayed and neutered now in loving homes.  We bred Heart to a lovely Lhasa named Miss Priss who was out of # 1 Lhasa CH Hylan Sho Tru Stormbird.  Out of this litter I kept one female and co-owned another with my friends in Canada.  The remaining puppies were all altered as well as their dam.

The puppy we kept grew up lovely but due to an injury to her hip area, she was not able to be shown, however, we do have two of her puppies.  One is handicapped named Amy and was spayed at 6 months old and the other is a beautiful representation of the breed.  Her name is Miss Dolly.  The other puppy out of Heart's and Priss's breeding is CH Di-Ti N Mistymeadow's Me Too  who provided us with a lovely female puppy we named Mishekie.

Heart has two other pups here.  They are full sister's out of two different litters.  Bernie (Di-Ti's Bernadette Minsnow) was born April 13th, 1996 and Starrah was born October 27th, 1997.  Their mom has since been spayed.  Both Bernie and Starrah look exactly like their sire.  Bernie has a lovely litter of puppies born September 15th, 1999 bred to our sire named (Di-Ti's Litl Joseph Big Foot) "Joey".  This is her last litter and she will be spayed.  We hope to carry on her and Joey's name with one or more of their sons in the show ring in the year 2000.  And in hopes of placing ROM's on our dogs.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I have been out of the show ring for a few years, but am planning to return in 2000 on a limited basis with our own breedings.  Right now, certifications of health and genetics is the most important thing to me to enable us to provide sound quality and health for the future of the breed.

Thanks for visiting our site.  We hope you have learned something here that you can share with others.
