Cyber Pet Cemetery

Many people have made moving tributes to their animal companions over thousands of years.  Some of these are very famous; great works of art and splendid literature commemorate the lives and deaths of those held very dear.  But the uniquely touching "Rainbow Bridge" has somehow come to be the embodiment of the feelings that dwell deep inside those of us fortunate to have loved greatly and then suffered the terrible pangs of loss. In honor of your 'special' companion, we take pleasure in printing it here - in your place of rememberance.

RAINBOW BRIDGE Photo © L Keen Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends to run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone very special, someone who was left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly, he breaks from the group, flying over the green grass, faster and faster. YOU have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.  Happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into those trusting eyes, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart. This 'Cyber' Pet Cemetery has been specially created for you.  It will give you the opportunity to have a quiet haven that you may visit any time you feel the need - to remember a beloved face or simply to reflect and celebrate a life that was full of joyful companionship and whom you miss. It is also to remember those who may have shared only a short but important time with you - a time that you wished could have been longer.

Serenity or hijinks, our animals will forever be a very special and important part of our lives. They are family members. Let your pet shine in their element and show them off.

The funny, the silly, the quiet times you have spent with them. We all have memorable stories to tell about our pets - share yours.

In addition to having this personal page, we also want you to be able to commemorate special times during the year, a birthday, an adoption date, perhaps - special times that are important to you.  Just let us have the new information at least 48 hours beforehand and we will do the rest.

If you would like a permanent Theme for your page - why not select from one of our choices below.  Perhaps warm sunshine and beaches, the snow-covered high country, or a grassy meadow which anyone would enjoy; or no theme at all.

Once you have decided on a special verse or poem and a eulogy, please supply these and your Theme or color choice together with up to 6 photographs.  If you would like to give us significant dates for your companion  we can display these also.  If you would like two pets on the same page, simply let us have three photos of each and their relevant details.

Updates or alterations up to 4 times per year on the special occasions you shared are included.

We will have a general, alphabetical listing with names if you choose.  If you prefer not to have your companion's or your name listed, the page can remain solely for your comfort.

There is a small charge per year to create, update and maintain the cyber resting place of your companion(s). See Order page for fees. There will be no distractions, no advertising - none of the irritating intrusions of the 'free' pages.  We hope you will agree that this small charge more than justifies having somewhere quiet and private to visit.
